Mighty Fresh Saturday 5.7.11

This is one event I fully support.

Need a way to make your Saturday feel like a Sunday to only be excited that it’s not Sunday, but Saturday? Then definitely make it out to one of the Mighty Fresh Saturdays. I mean damn. Let me lay out some happenings.

1. They have carne asada tacos, burgers, and hotdogs. EFFIN FREE. Seriously? Yea. It’s free. It’s always good to leave a tip, but the fact that The Fresh Yard is hooking up all it’s customers with affordable sustenance  makes it iLL.

2. They have an ice cream truck that follows the same guidelines as the tacos, hamburgers, and hot dogs. EFFIN FREE. We ain’t talking about someone serving up costco sizes of Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream. Naw son. The Fresh Yard cats decided to up it up 4 or so levels. We’re talking about a full on ice cream truck with a Tweety Bird ice cream bar and strawberry shortcakes. And y’all know I capitalized on the Tweety Bird ice cream bar.

3. A line up of dope djs dropping some fresh music. Nothing compliments a sunny day like a good soundtrack. We had Juelz, Oh!-D, and Mateo putting everyone in a good mood. A matter fact, Oh-D was definitely puttin’ it down on the tables. I don’t mean to fake the funk, but I was forced to secretly cross my arms and Shazam some tracks. AND of course . . . I couldn’t find em.

4. For all the men, you can get your hair done did by homeslice Colombo Roc. He stayed lining up fools left and right. You need Obama shaved into your head . . . ask the man. You feel like goin’ with the Kid N Play, homeslice gots you. Just tip the man. Or else you’ll be getting “I Heart Pink” shaved into the side of your head.

So these are just a few things you got going on during the day. And of course you also have the opportunity to shop around for some fresh gear. So . . . try to roll through next time.
