Dj Niques – Spoonful of Soul
I bought this mixtape from Stacks San Diego while it was still open back in 05’ or something before they closed down. And I still listen to it quite often. This is on some soulful, conscious, nod your head, relax, smooth, chill, lyrical ish. Maybe not all those at once, but a damn good combination. I had this stuck in my cd player for a minute as my “go to” music when I would forget my iPod at home or when there would be whackness on the radio. I had to go out and buy Pete Rocks single “Its A Love Thing” due to hearing the track on the mix. Love it.
